Cancellation & Appointment Changes

1. Unconfirmed Service Requests
If your service request has not yet been confirmed, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us.
2. Confirmed Appointments
If a confirmed appointment needs to be changed or cancelled, please contact us as soon as possible. A minimum notice period of [CANCELLATION NOTICE PERIOD] is requested where practical.
3. Home or Office Visits

4. Store Appointments
Store appointments can be rescheduled or cancelled by contacting us before the scheduled time. Devices already submitted for repair may be collected from the store location.
5. Remote Support Sessions
Remote-support sessions can be ended or cancelled at any time. If a session has not yet started, no charge applies. If work has already commenced, charges may apply for time spent.
6. Diagnostic Work
Where diagnostic work has already been performed, a diagnostic fee may apply even if the customer decides not to proceed with the full repair.
7. Ordered Parts

8. CCTV and Installation Projects

9. Business Projects
Business IT projects with agreed scopes of work are subject to the cancellation terms in the relevant project agreement.
10. Consumer Cancellation Rights
If you are a consumer, you may have cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Where these regulations apply, you generally have the right to cancel within 14 days of entering into a contract, unless you have expressly requested that work begin during the cancellation period and acknowledged that you may lose your cancellation right once the work is completed.
11. Missed Appointments

12. Technician Cancellation
If Hire IT Expert or the assigned provider needs to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer an alternative time or provider where available.
